It can take years of testing out products before you find that magical one with superstar qualities! We here at gush researched multiple clean brands so you wouldn't have to! We tried their products and arrived at the three best clean makeup brands and their superstar product! We focused on three qualities: formulation, colour and ingredients that pay-off! 😍

First we have ILIA cosmetics! What we loved about ILIA primarily was their shade collection! They provide shade diversity that a lot of clean brands do not yet! It offers 18 shades for both of its foundation products that cover the entire shade spectrum! What sold us on their product though are the amazing skin benefits. It has potent skincare ingredients such as Niacinamide and Allantoin that visibly improve the skin with every wear, minimising the look of pores, lines, redness, and uneven tone instantly and over time. Not to mention, their serum skin tint foundation comes with SPF- the holy grail of skincare! You can never too much SPF- said every dermatologist ever! ☀️

KOSAS! Oh the lightness of their products is quite unmatchable, it looks as good on the skin as it feels! It has also got a skin-healthy formulas(i'm sensing a pattern here)

All of the brand’s products feel lightweight and don't look over the top, making it a great pick for people who are either new to makeup or just don’t like wearing a lot of it. Their superstar product? The Revealer Concealer undereye concealer! A medium coverage, super creamy concealer, eye cream, and spot treatment in one that visibly brightens and helps reveal better skin over time. It has Caffeine + Pink Algae which brightens the skin, Arnica + Provitamin B5 which soothes your undereye, Peptides + Hyaluronic Acid which plumps the skin! 🌞☕️

Next we have GUSH! Okay, I know! Might seem biased? But Gush is that clean makeup brand that’s also fun! All their products have that star quality! What sells me on it is how their products have good colour and pigmentation! But my favourite product is the GlowGetter! It’s formula sold me on it! It’s packed with mega hydrators including hyaluronic acid and plant derived sugar, plus mattifying white peony to help control sebum. With one loving layer, skin feels instantly hydrated, more radiant, and dewy soft.☺️

This is an illuminating moisturiser! It is multi-tasking, long-wearing, it has no synthetic fragrances, zero sulphates, dermatologically tested, cruelty free, vegan and peta approved! 💯

The fact that it is your vegan moisturiser, illuminator, primer and sun protector all rolled into one is quite impressive! It not only brightens your skin, blurs pores but also perfects your complexion without covering it up!
